well, windows defender is built in, so you would have to really go through a lot to permanently shut it off

but, what did google say about the system proxy issue?

someone had the simliar issue but they fixed it because they had quick heal and firewall on and they just turned off the firewall completly

nexus os? I have not heard of that one.. Linux flavor i assume. If so, i will not be much help, but iirc you have to manually define system(all) proxies in Linux

all i can say is good luck, and good googling. beyond what we've already covered, i do not really have any ideas. and honestly, i would not trust a custom windows os at all, but that is me.

a better learning experience would be a regular windows install, and then use Privacy.sexy scripts to configure it. odd name, but good utility
