📃 Inline Code
Surround code with three backquotes. Not quotation marks.
To format as C#, add cs to the first line:
```cs
// Your code here
```
Add a comment with a line number if there is an error message.
what is this i dont get how to use it
It is a text box
it tells you how to post your code
you read it and follow the instructions
and then post your code
Paste the link
Use the impulse force mode for your jump
srry im still new to coding
huh?
ok so this is what i learn so i need to use it like this Rigidbody2D.AddForce
but where do i add this?
It's really hard to help people when they don't understand very basic things. So when you said people weren't helping you, it's because it takes a LOOOONG time to do simple debugging steps and people don't want to hang out for a long time holding your hand.
Not trying to be mean, but if you were to at least be less argumentative, people would be a bit more willing to help longer.
Things like this:
#💻┃code-beginner message
and this:
#💻┃code-beginner message
Will drive people away and and make them block you.
You should do the !learn pathways, and maybe a c# course to understand the basics so that when people help you, you can participate rather than asking exactly where to post the code.
I wish you the best!

"No, you use force mode for your add force" this is what that is not making me know what to do
Did you look at the documentation?
i did
It shows EXACTLY where and how to add it
Yes, and then also look at the rest of it
There's more than one line
And there's also the documentation for add force
wait what does impulse mean
It's all in the docs I linked
oh ok
Bro, this is why Osteel was saying make a thread.
You gotta TRY
This kinda stuff floods the channel and everyone else gets drowned out

do not do tutorials from youtube
We shouldnt have to screenshot snippets from a page you are entirely capable of reading on your own
why not
do a full course, like the one helpfully provided by Unity
It's like four paragraphs
dam u right
Youtube tutorials are not gonna get you where you want
There are some super long ones that might. But if they are "how to do this one thing" then no, it will not help
this is free right?
also i have a hard time reading
It says free in the message. It is the 5th word in
So why should it be any different if we write it
You'd still have to read it
