I extracted the textures but
Still doesnt work
are you sure there is no better way?
Did you assign the textures?
I already said earlier, stick them in the base map slot
I feel like im retarded or smth
Textures are the actual images
Ok
Did you actually extract those? Because it looks like you havent
I pressed extract textures
So assign them
Not sure how to do that
Bruh
Click on the material and assign it there
I get the base image texture i put into blender and instead put it into the base map in unity?
Yes
I mean you can guess from the names
Ive watched other videos people just pull the fbx into unity
Your material setup is a mess so I can't help you there
and the textures are automatically there
Yeah that doesn't work all the time
You can try baking them I guess https://youtu.be/wG6ON8wZYLc

In this Blender tutorial, I will show you how to bake multiple materials to one texture map.
I forgot to mention in the tutorial: Before baking any texture maps that are not contributing to the base color, (Roughness, Metallic, Normal) You should set the image's color space to No...
My face is fucked
I assigned everything
but
But my face for some reason is messed up
This isnt working
He only has 2 textures
the axe and the axe handle
I have the face and lots of different textures for the body
It should still apply
And frankly you shouldn't be having 6 materials on such a simple model anyway
Those should be baked into one texture regardless
Im sorry i dont know to that
I literally just posted a video on how
Just because he has two materials doesn't mean that the technique doesn't apply
Expecting someone to have the exact same setup as you is just silly
You're welcome to look for a more applicable video I guess, I'm sure there are a bunch out there
Again, I don't use blender so I can only point you to videos
Also I'm going to bed so just post in the channel if you get stuck and maybe someone else can help
@real nebula Did you have a screenshot of how your texture/material/shader setup looks like in blender
Like in project settings or somewhere else?
In blender shader editor
There's no trick to it besides that only UV Texture Coordinates with no Mapping are supported for exporting
It could be useful to see how the model appears in Blender, what the shader for it looks like in blender's shader editor, and what the mesh UVs look like for that texture
I don't see a problem here
Unapplied Transforms might in some situations mess up UV mapping, but if that's in check all you should need to do is import the mesh and texture into unity, make a material with the texture and assign it to the mesh renderer's material slot
Not sure why this seems to not work
Shouldn't be any steps beyond that
Can we go into blender discord
and then VC
Because i dont know what import the mesh and texture into unity means
The first chapter of this tutorial is the best tutorial for the export process I know of
https://youtu.be/nhJ8EJ_GtLI
Learn how to export the barrel 3d model (game asset) from Blender to Unity. You will also learn how to create a custom Mesh Collider in Blender and use it in Unity. And how to set up the prefab with physics and collision. This series is focused on beginners!

I recommend you practice with simple test meshes just to get familiar with the process and try to rule out any unexpected problems
