#Thanks While I m sure I m going against

As per my eyeballs these are the regions that repeat, for wood and sand
The textures themselves are composed of patterns that seem to repeat within the texture multiple times, which are then broken up in subtle ways to prevent you from paying attention to it
In your forest texture the "grass" patterns are very distinct
And kind of weird, it looks like I'm looking at the leaves of a tree up close rather than a bird's eye view of grass or forest
Haha yes, my grass texture is a placeholder from an asset I bought just to prove my shader. Now I'm looking to switch it out for something more the style I'm going for.
And yes, the textures in RimWorld (and my game) are fine repeating, but the highlighted area you marked is more like ... 10 sq meters? Based on the size of the chair.
Since I'm doing a batch render with few draw calls for my terrain, I was hoping to use a texture that represented more like 50 sq meters.
Isn't repeating a texture completely free anyhow
What I often do is to overlay patterns that repeat at different frequencies when drawing one such texture
