That is a bit odd - I think it's a quirk of how it's treating the Texture2D. I think if you did the same with a prefab, it would use the name and give you a .assetbundle

ah right... well yea... I hope eventually they provide a way to customise it in the future because it is quite limited
not really any need for them to be user facing though - hopefully you're able to get things working from here
