#how does the extract textures work It

What do you mean "should be"?
It should give you a file navigation window to choose a location where the textures will be placed
Aight, thats how it works.
It exported the texturesas JPG
Is it possible to export as png?
I expect it creates them in the format they are found in the file
So converting wouldn't net you a benefit
It might be that if the textures are in /Textures/ folder, the materials may find and connect them automatically
If not, you'll probably want to extract the materials in the same fashion, or create new ones
The textures are somehow like this
Lower is the one in Unity
I think there's something wrong with the materials though, since they should be working out of the box
If you have a normal map, it needs to be of type "normal map"
it has a normal map
If you have a normal map, it needs to be of type "normal map"
In the normal map's import settings
Alright got that working. The weird glare was the smoothness
The bad quality could be that I scaled it up by 100 times
Because the object was too small.
Is there anyway to fix that?
You can apply a scale factor in mesh import settings
There's ambiguity in scales between different modeling programs, so a scale multiplier of 100 or 0.01 is pretty common
yeah
I applied it, the result is still the same as scaling it up a 100 times.
What is the second texture used for?
That it is, but without having to do it with object scale to avoid messing up object hierarchies
Which one?
