Can you show the other gameobject as well with the inspector
I think half the battle is .DDS
Unity is old school and doesn't read it. :/
Ah my bad
Hold on
Unity is the ultimate game development platform. Use Unity to build high-quality 3D and 2D games, deploy them across mobile, desktop, VR/AR, consoles or the Web, and connect with loyal and enthusiastic players and customers.
It looks like it's able to be imported but it's not officially supported
Figures
baseModel.mtl contents:
Blender MTL File: 'None'
Material Count: 1
newmtl None
Ns 500
Ka 0.8 0.8 0.8
Kd 0.8 0.8 0.8
Ks 0.8 0.8 0.8
d 1
illum 2
ok
Sorry, but honestly I don't know what any of that means
Do you have blender?
You could try adding the files in and attaching them then export as a fbx along with the texture
But that defeats the point of textures
Becuase according to the inspector it has no materials
like if you were making a char, you might want multiple attires, like a wrestling game would
sec
HMM
very interesting, min
K
You might just need to look at some tutorials for adding textures if that's what you need
K
Yes
ok
Same with the fbx
Why is it trying to open it as an image
No, your trying to open it with an image editor
hm sec
i will convert a DDS to one
but problem is. png can not do normals, bumps, etc
I think your doing to much converting
Well, I've tried to help with everything I can
I think your on your own, unless someone else can help
Yea, np. Sorry I couldn't do much. I haven't worked on any 3d games yet really. I've started them but never actually went through with them. Yet...
