Around 1-2 months ago I noticed that it has been quite a long time since I had gotten more than 1 constellation from the "1-3 constellation mission"
I decided to note down the constellation amounts I got and NOT A SINGLE TIME did I get more than 1 constellation
I'm on the latest version of the game, is this a bug that no one else noticed or is my game bugged?
#"Constellation I" astronomy mission always giving 1 constellation

i wanted to look into this and it seems the constellation amount you get is heavily favoured towards getting 1, like absurdly so
i dont think i can say exact numbers but if you wanted a 50% chance to not get 1, youd have to roll more than 40 times
me too, I got 3 fragments once
yall understand how statistics works right
yes you will get 3 or 2 fragments sometimes, its just heavily weighted against that
i never said its impossible to get that
its actually possible to get like infinitely many
I'm confirming that the very first message is false

Much better to just do red dwarf missions than the constellation mission imo, if you check the game often-ish that is. Def if you have the ||Auriga constellation||.
smart
I pretty much lean towards red dwarf and white dwarf missions to get more constellations since in over 3 years from using the constellation mission I've only got 2 constellation thrice, and 3 constellation once.
Maybe it's because red dwarf or white dwarf are way faster to complete (I can do 3-6 rolls of the same dwarf mission before constellation mission is ready, 12 if I unlock the 6-hour red-dwarf constallation), or because there are more dwarf missions (so I can be doing 4 at the same time).
I personally wouldn't mind a Constellation II mission with better chances and faster, unlockable later on the Beyond
