It was removed because it's prediction was highly inaccurate so it was more confusing than helpful.

I miss it too. Despite it fluctuating wildly - it still gave you a general idea of how far off you were. You could figure out, once you got used to it, if you were mere hours away vs days vs longer.

If you want the info it was literally just dividing XP remaining by XP /s. By eyeballing it it's easy to do a ROM estimation that's no more inaccurate than the displayed value was.

The idea that something meant to take 60,473 years can be finished in just 5–6 days makes this timer confusing, impractical, and ultimately useless. Honestly, no one’s going to need it.

I found this wasn't really true either, if it said days it was probably hours. if it said weeks it was probably days
