well if we did that then it may be better to add it to say a sports/games event.
it's just a sub-class.

I think sports and games would be too broad, with a node limit of 70-ish. And given a choice, I'd be more interested in games. Not sure how / what to cover to align with the C2S vibe of science though.

Like athletics (track and field) sports and swimming? That could link in with human body, physics, biology, sports physiology and evolution.

If it's a sport event like 'football', meh ... Even if I was interested in that, C2S isn't the game for it imo.

Or maybe something like the stages being:
1 - sport as hunting-replacement
2 - sport as community bonding
3 - sport with computing/internet

As each exploration typically has its own 'twist', I wonder if a sports/games event could involve irl activity?

Somethiing like, move your phone 100m at not-car-speed, or lift it 50 times.

Would be tricky, and would have to consider accessibility. And would need App permissions (which mine doesn't have). Is also quite a step away from idle-clicker.

Obvs, have no idea how would be implemented for desktop players ☹️.

Yeah, I know its not likely. But was trying to think what the devs could do to give it its own flavour. Y'knoe, how like each event is a bit different from the others. Extinction is an obvious one.

Maybe the garden could be like a athletics stadium (or gym), with 'secret' things you can do to get more stuff (like the Money event). Things that represent e.g. the pent/hep/decathlon might be fun.

  • processing
  • user interfaces (display, controls, headsets, chairs)
  • tapes to disks to downloads to online
  • main frames to computer labs to pcs to laptops to mobiles
  • Software
  • graphics
  • world model
  • objects
  • mobs
  • Culture
    • Playing solo to together to network
    • Nerd to mainstream to films etc
    • own to rent to ecosystem
  • Types of games
  • pong
  • text adventures
  • point and click
  • platformers ... Etc

Idk ... Just a bunch of bullets ... Not sure how this would work as an event.

if the event becomes what had been suggested earlier of it being about sports/track and field and what not then in the modern era it could evolve to things like kinect, virtual reality(beat saber), pokemon go and other games that encourage its players to exercise
