so, at the start, there will be like "ancient computer" and then this one generator branch into multiple generators like abacus, mathematical texts, strings, and those branched generators not only generate bits but also boosts the original "precursor computer" generator. then, they all go to the analog computer generator, which again, branches into more generators like abacus (more moderny), orrery, slide rulers, etc. which generates bits and also boosts analog computer, but ALSO makes all precursor computer generators 50% less efficient. then it goes to digital computer and that digital computer generator branches into more generators like analytical engine, electric computers, and modern computers. again, these boost the digital computer generator, generates bits, and reduces both the analog computer generators and precursor computer generators by 50% each (making analog computer generators only 25% efficient now)

the less efficiency is kind of unfair, but i like the concept of reducing the generators' efficiencies, creating the feeling that you should buy more recent generators
