it sucks for their weird policies, as we can see in the promo codes being restricted. also the app store has a massive 30% cut from all app revenue, which is annoying. also the interface customization sucks, android is superior in that way. for everything else, ios is supreme, since it doesn't have spyware and less bloatware. i'm not saying iphones don't have bloatware, every device has bloat these days, but atleast on samsung phones 50% of the apps is bloat, which some of them you can't even remove.

you can actually make a good device out of an android phone by installing GrapheneOS or something similar, since Android works similarly to Linux, there are tons of distros out there.
