The transfer must've had some problem. You could try to transfer your progress again with Game Transfer by uploading it from your laptop again and then downloading it to your phone again. You must've not looked at your metabit bar that's under your currency, it shows how much metabits you've made. There's also a calculator Semblance has that can tell you how much of entropy and ideas you need to earn a specified amount of metabits

Suggestion: I have a suggestion for a sequel. A turn-based strategy game using the tech tree from the original. Whereas games like Civ start at the Human advent of fire, and end when we leave for the stars, a game where time moves too quickly to gather every upgrade along the way and forces you to make real decisions would be awesome fun as you would see the effect of decisions made before the dinosaurs have an impact while colonizing Mars as a Bird instead of a mammal.
