iirc, some time ago it was recommended to wait till you have 7 metabits but it isnt that important so you can reset right now, your simulation will get a lot faster either way
And a suggestion, focus on the left side of that tree (except nanobots) you'll see when you reset, so called "reality engine"

They don't contribute to each other but they boost your primary simulation for each rank you finish, and also mesosoic have special generators that unlocks in primary when you reach certain rank in it

In beyond you need to do all quests before you can update the universe but for meso, you should do all the quests, except the last one for gathering fossils, after the prestige it should be easy to get though
