When are the devs going to expand the primary simulation. It's all well and good getting new events but it doesn't feel like I'm making any real progress until the PS is updated. I was thinking after they added colonising Mars they could make the next expansion/s to do with going further into possible futures e.g. Dyson spheres, colony ships, cloning, the list goes on. Hello fellow GNU/Linux user! What flavour of Linux are you using? I use a mixture of Lubuntu for my daily stuff, and Trisquel for the serious stuff. I also have Raspberry Pi OS (which is based on Debian) installed on all of my Pi's.

I don't play any games on my Linux machines, unfortunately, as my hardware is too old to support it (except for the Pi's, but they are used as servers, and are not exactly gaming machines). However, it is possible to install Steam using the Play on Linux features, and then get Cell to Singularity from there.

The other option, the one that I use, is to play instead on a mobile device. Remember, the Android operating system is just Linux anyway!

Yep yep. One of my many career paths over the years was as an OEM System Builder. I have plenty of experience with upgrading computers, and of building them from components (both desktop and laptop machines). These days however, as I'm retired now, I prefer to have computers that just work, and that I don't have to keep fiddling with. But thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Ah, I had a play with Mint once, it was quite nice. Which DE do you use with it, Cinnamon, XFCE, or MATE? My hardware couldn't handle Cinnamon, so I stuck to XFCE (the lightweight DE) instead. In fact, Lubuntu used to have XFCE by default, until they changed it to LXDE instead.
