I loved the concept of game development since I was young kid, forgot the age, which I tried learning it in my young teen years, but just never did crap and it felt like it'd take forever for me to figure out anything. I, however, eventually got a programming class to actually make me learn programming, which turned to the best turn around ever as I was able to speed through the class (and helped the majority of my classmates cheat as they hardly put in any effort). so like it may feel like an impossible task, but if you find some way to get you to actually learn it via some kind of cool class or you eventually figure out how to make yourself take some online course, you may be able to learn a whole lot then be able to go on afterwards learning on your own.
