@quiet hatch Reboot is pretty much prestiging in the main simulation, once you've already reached the Singularity for the first time, you'll start collecting a currency called Metabits, which are your prestige currency. The further you get into the game, the faster you produce metabits and the more metabits you collect for each reboot, the faster your production speed is, therefore a faster production of metabits.

Did you get past 2^1024 entropy & ideas? I don’t think that’s possible, as the game would run out of precision (16 digits will no longer be sufficient) far before that point.

Also, the reason why it says “NaN” for 2 values is because it’s trying to subtract infinity from infinity, which is undefined.

At the end of the game, I would recommend rebooting when you would increase total megabits by 25-50%. There's no point in waiting longer than that, but rebooting sooner is a waste of time.

Remember that metabits use a cube root formula, so doubling total metabits requires multiplying total entropy + ideas by 8. Things slow down very quickly because of this.
