(if I'm understanding the question correctly) There should be a telescope icon you can click on, either above the boost button or in the pull-out tab where you'd also find the in-game achievements list. From there, click on the "Mission Available" cell and then click on the telescope icon in the top-right of the new menu that pops up. The Phobos research mission should be there for you to select; after that, just wait the allotted amount of time, and you'll complete the mission.

I don't really know how to evaluate what to do next in the main-sim. I am on Level 10, get around 13,85 No/s (it is even temporarly boosted) and my next upgrade would be for Pandas for 42,40 Dc to only get ~25% more overall speed. So there is a huge gap to the next steps.

Right now I have ~38M Metabits and could save up to buy the next glitch for 42M or to save up to 62.5M for 150% more speed in the reality engine. What would be better?

I am not sure if a reboot in my current situation would be benefitial because I noticed that the speed for metabits is slower than the level before.
