It just means that speed upgrades will increase payout per tick

The sun reaches that point quickly and all upgrades past that point are increasing payout

When it doubles the speed after the graphic is solid it doubles the payout

I appreciate the quick reply, but are you sure of this. In my experience with Mezozoic animals, I have not found any additional payout size (or speed) when increasing payout speed past the "x/sec" mark. Of course, directly increasing the payout size still works, as expected.

It really doesn't.
The first prestige takes "a while" - maybe a week, or maybe two. Everything after that is "really fast". Still annoyingly long, because it's so boring, but still.
I can finish a prestige in a few hours, so that means I could finish the entire Meso in another week if I really wanted to. I'd just be bored to death, it takes a lot of clicking...
(source: I have finished prestige 4, but am not sure if I really wanna do more...)
