You earn them in the Main Simulation after unlocking the Singularity (idea tree)
You see your earn rate after unlocking singularity and going through a reset. The earn rate is hidden until you reach the singularity again.
Earn them for entropy / ideas farmed.

You will be earning them in the background (although very slowly) It is much much faster to get to that part of the tree going forward
Takes maybe 5 minutes - and then will get even faster - to the point that you will be able to casually get there in 2 minutes if you are reasonably efficient with you tree climbing

It's a game of repeating. But there are fun stuff about. And the game is built on Darwins theory. So you can probably guess how the game itself will evolve while you play. Some stuff are harder to achivment but time solves everything

Yeah I am currently sitting at rank 7 myself. It just seems like such a drag to even get to 8 to a point that I dont think its worth playing until next content release. I also wish i could do something with the extra 11 stars i have... like buying ranks with it.

Yes, even the tasks are all the same through the 50 ranks
Common cards will reset after prestige so you might want to save some mutagens
And of course buy diamond geode(s) if you have enough darwiniums
Also the number of cards diamond geodes gives right after prestige is much less

I mean, yes and no. You would have to look at the card counts it is giving you - and the fact that the cost doesn't change should imply similar payouts. A little messy. I'm sure some could make that mistake.

Yes - but Meso at the beginning is very brutal - octuply so if you are on Steam without ads and don't spend money. Imagine no x4 - no double offline earnings - no free mystery trait every 20 minutes. I have feliforms maxed and I'm not even rank 16 on Meso (I've played through and done everything on Android - started separately on Steam from the beginning about 10 days ago)

yea doing to prestige 10 within a day as error404 said is impossible on pc unless you are willing to sacrifice a ton of darwinium and even then youd have to be playing for like 12+ hours in that day which i dont think would be a fun experience lol
it takes me like a week to go through prestiges on pc and im prestige 5 and will be 6 in like 2 days
mind you i dont use any boosts and just save darwinium for rank 50 diamond geodes

Welcome to the party! A few simple tips - save your Darwinium - check in daily to claim the daily reward (this is unlocked fairly early on the main tree of life). Are you playing on Steam? Or a mobile app?

That is most of the Main tree, for now. Largely save up metabits if you've completed all the reality engine research. If you get bored and have everything currently, I would advise signing in for the daily reward at a minimum (and running all the astronomy missions you can). after all, this is a living game - new releases will come

I mean, it isn't that simple - my top earning dinos are never the 2 newest ones (especially before you unlock and receive cards to buff them). And even if they do give you tons of fossils in comparison - it initially flows so slow that the rate per time is inferior.

All upgrades are unaffordable? Can you screenshot your life tree like I will below?
I only have half the Meso stuff unlocked, but I have all Reality Engine upgrades (for spending Metabits) and all but one life tree research (notwithstanding the Meso branches not unlocked) - but Feliforms are maxed with all the upgrades, and they are the primary earner for end stage

A Mysterious Rock appears on the Main Tree once the Flatworm is unlocked. Repeatedly tapping on the Rock destroys it and unlocks the Mesozoic Valley: a new, separate simulation, in which a separate tech tree can be found. Advancing this second simulation provides speed increases to the main simulation, and eventually unlocks additional generators.
The Mesozoic Valley begins with a single dinosaur node, with more species unlocking as you advance in rank. Clicking the screen will generate Fossil Points at the rate of one per click, but they can be gained at a faster rate by clicking the arrow button on top of each dinosaur node in the tree to 'charge' the node. Tapping the dinosaur itself allows you to purchase more copies of the dinosaur, which increases the payout from each charge.
Dinosaurs will not automatically generate fossils without tapping until you unlock the corresponding Trait Cards. These traits automate production of Fossils for each dinosaur, removing the need to tap on the arrow button and increasing the productivity of each dinosaur. Trait Cards are improved and upgraded using Mutagen, a currency gained by purchasing a certain number of dinosaurs, but must first be unlocked by collecting the cards from Geodes.
At the top of the screen are quests, which give the player goals like "Collect 25 Stegosaurus", "Upgrade 3 Traits", and "Photograph Archosaur". Three quests are displayed at a time, and with each rank more quests are required to be completed to advance to the next level. Once a quest is completed, the player will receive a Stone Geode containing Mutagen and Trait Cards.
After completing enough quests for each rank of the Mesozoic Valley, you have the option to trigger an Extinction Event (although there will typically be additional quests remaining, which you can optionally complete for extra rewards). When this happens, an asteroid falls from the sky.

some people think it’s rank 10 so I guess you have to level it up to that

You can reboot, once you have went to next rank in mesozoic valley as it will give boost to primary simulation
