So metabits farm rate has diminished for me - between simulation 68 and 69, despite everything else being higher now (I took notes for resource rates / boosts / how many creatures I had etc.). Metabit rate is slightly lower despite everything else being higher - found that interesting.

Any non-obvious tricks for grinding the Beyond? I'm already through all the unlocked story - just achievement grinding.

Are the “glitch” animals a kind of roadblock for advancing? My Life progress is capping out around e23/s with everything unlocked except upgrades that are several e-levels higher.

I see a chameleon glitch animal in the evolution map that should unlock after rank10 of MV, and another I can unlock for 300k DAR. But my DAR is stalling around 55k, and rank7 MV is a snail already

If you reset the simulation and speed increases, the rate of metabits also increases, and then keeps slowing down again

There are benefits to actively playing for sure, the obvious benefits of clicking, but the sim also runs at a higher % while you're active, or even just have it minimised if you're playing on a desktop or laptop

but also yeah, the real difference is made when you leave it alone for extended periods, then come back and spend loads of money

I have everything around it already. There are no ideas left to research, and i have 144 martian cities already.
Only some new limbs for some of the animals are there, but crazy expensive

quite unpleasant that there is this plateau, where there is no view on new things.
Would be nice if the beyond would actually add new planets to the main simulation.
eg: i've discovered Jupiter already a while ago. Would be nice if i could now start to create missions to jupiter in the main simulation.

I feel like my progress is incredibly stagnated. I don't know if I'm doing this wrong, but I have whales and caniforms and the whole idea line bought out, but every 12 hours i log on to collect, i can barely buy anything and restarting the simulation wouldn't be worthwhile at all since i cant buy anything and it doesn't increase my multiplier by much.

I don't see any direct in game documentation that Beyond boosts main simulation. Unless it is a hidden bonus or the devs have mentioned something. When you look at the Reality Engine - while it does track your Beyond progress, it isn't listed in the boost section at all.

Basically you want to work the tech trees - the Research during a run - and the reality engine uber upgrades for during a rest. Work whatever helps you do those.

If memory serves, you'll probably want to reset anytime you can afford one or two of the metabit upgrades.
In between those runs while waiting to afford when you can't make much progress, grind Dinos as much as you can, at least until you max them out. The boost helps out over the long haul

I have a ton of Martian Cities and have tons of Whales which is the best thing I can get right now but I;m getting no metabits. My metabit production was way better last reset but now its gone to shit and it just means I cant progress. Resetting doesnt give a substantial enough increase for it to be worth it at all but im also just not progressing at all with any production. Why is this happening?
