But it gives a rather misleading view of evolution

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting from Rank 16 to Rank 17? I am currently through all of the missions except for collecting 1.00Sdc stardust. Based upon my currently calculations its going to take me 136 more hours to get enough star dust to rank to 17. I usually average about 1 rank per day, but this seems insanely long. I am still working on Oort constellation, but I doubt it will do anything more than half that, which still puts me at almost 3 days of just collecting star dust. Working on dwarf stars too, hoping to upgrade some of the oort clouds. Am i missing anything?

Yes, for each prestige you rank up faster. Now I'm collecting all badges for ranking. But on maxout it is a little bit annoying to collect all badges on the saurs. I'm on the last two saurs and for research I need 50k mutagen for each card. Without payment its bitter to wait.
