Jojo, I have some thoughts on your guide. Don't know if I should mention them here or in DM. Specifically, the middle part of the guide (spending mutagen on traits) can be very confusing and hard to follow for folks going through MV for the first time.
In particular, most people will not have enough mutagen to upgrade the traits as you suggest (unless they use money/darwinium to buy some)

In particular, I doubt a player would be able to level up their top three dino trait cards to level 11 by rank 49 or even 50. Even trying to level up their top one dino would be hard. Additionally, in the long run, it is wiser to save up as mutagen as you can until you hit Prestige 10 (in my opinion), so you can go on a shopping spree for Gigantasaurus.
I might also suggest mentioning how the shop picks cards (to the limit that we can guess). I found that the shop will alternate between two sets of cards you might need (or rather, what some algorithm, unbeknownst to us, says we need).
For example, let's say you want to level up Triceratops with Nose Brow Horns (automate) and Frill (payout). The shop might offer Nose Brow Horns and something else (maybe Ankylosaurus "Tail Club"). If you buy one Nose Brow Horn, the shop might offer Frill. If you buy enough to level either/both up, and you DO level them up, the shop will then offer the next level of each. If you do not, the shop will offer something else entirely.

My observation is that one needs to be a little careful - if you are interested in upgrading, upgrade ASAP so that when you get new trait cards, the offer (via the shop or a geode) is increased to match the next upgrade cost.

What do you think about adding a sentence in the trait section regarding which dino traits are to be leveled up to your recommended scale? One cannot upgrade the latest/newest dino quite that much, and upgrading the 3rd oldest (and probably the biggest fossil producer) gets to be a little expensive. That is the dance.

Mesozoic Valley Guide
This guide is mainly aimed at helping people with their first run through the Mesozoic Valley.
Starting a new stage
When starting a new stage get to your newest dinos as fast as possible completely ignoring all the dinos before the newest 2-3. Then only upgrade these few as far as you can afford in the first 5-10 min.
After that focus on completing missions to get geodes.
Exiting a stage
I recommend only exiting a stage when you have completed all missions.
Before doing so you should go through all your dinos and try to reach as many milestones as you can for some extra mutagen. Don't underestimate the effect of this, especially at higher stages.
The milestones are 10, 25, 50, 100, 150, 250 and 500.
Missions
There are four mission types, two of them are a free source of mutagen and traits:
- taking a photo of your newest dino
- upgrading a certain amount of traits
The other two can be a lot more challenging: - upgrading dinos to a particular level - you should just complete these one after the other
- producing a certain amount of fossils - there are going to be 1-2 of these per stage, one of them most likely as the last mission with a very high amount of fossils
Traits
This segment is closely connected to the "shop"-part of the guide.
Always upgrade the rare (silver) and epic (gold) traits when available because you keep them after you reset on stage 50.
The normal traits should only be upgraded for your newest 2 dinos, because newer dinos always have a better cost/income-ratio. The level depends on which stage you are on.
Recommended trait level depending on stage:
Stage 1-5: lvl 1-2
Stage 6-10: lvl 2-3
Stage 11-15: lvl 3-4
Stage 16-20: lvl 4-5
Stage 21-25: lvl 5-6
Stage 26-30: lvl 6-7
Stage 31-35: lvl 7-8
Stage 36-40: lvl 8-9
Stage 41-45: lvl 9-10
Stage 46-50: lvl 10-11
If you have lots of mutagen left, you can of course use that to speed up your progress by upgrading the traits further.
The Shop
The Shop gives you options to buy geodes, traits and mutagen. When and what to buy is really important because buying too much wastes resources and buying too little wastes time.
Only buy diamond geodes, and those only on stage 50 before prestiging, because the contents of the geodes scale with your stage so it is most effective to buy them at 50.
Buying traits is a the only way of effectively leveling the new traits on higher stages.
The shop almost always offers traits that don’t have an upgrade available. By always buying and instantly upgrading two traits you can get new traits to a high level really fast.
There is no need to ever keep more than about 5 times the mutagen needed for the most expensive upgrade you want to get, so you can invest the rest in buying and upgrading traits.
The mutagen part of the shop is not needed at any time. If you have an urge to spend Darwinium then buy diamond geodes instead.
Later Prestige Runs
As rare and epic traits don't get reset on Prestige the trait level required for normal traits to progress at a reasonable pace is going to decrease. This allows you to save up even more mutagen.

they’re nanobots and I think they only give you entropy and ideas. You can buy an upgrade where you can make them buy upgrades and generators and it’s really helpful for speedruns. Also the 15 minutes are they’re cooldown and you need to manually activate them if you want them to come back

I actually got the achievement after spending close to 5000 darwinium on diamond geodes (Obviously they existed due to an exploit, it's beyond impossible to get that without a purchase). Still, it was a pain getting those. And the exploit was patched.

Jojo's approach was to deterministically find the pattern using a power sum equation. Semblance uses hardcoded constants that does not consider other variables. :)

Jojo's equation was given specific prices from specific levels, my equations are based on base values of a generator, and the constant for percentage increase of all generator prices. So yeah, it really needs the base value constants to always be up to date if the devs update the prices and I probably now need to consider the cards into the factor :(
