For all awards given on it. I checked on one of my passes through, the amounts were the same throughout the Rank, so early 50 is same as the end of 50, however if you do it at the start of the rank, you'll get the benefits while grinding.

to go to lvl 14 for both cards of a dino cost a total of 400,000 mutagen
