The entropy tap upgrades are the only ones that affect that part, but your idle income goes up every time you unlock lifeforms.
Don't worry so much about clicking/tapping part and concentrate on the idle part, as that goes up significantly with each lifeform you unlock.

I installled birds update, and done everything in an hour, besides some achivents, but there at least was a reason to reastart for reality engine upgrades. Mammals went throu even quicker besides some unreachable achievents. And there wa sno reason to reset. I reloaded anyway but didn 't notice any difference in balance.

Wouldn't it be simpler to track the growth rate of present income generation, and then fraction the present generation rates accordingly?
This might be more of a design paradigm, but I just felt like this might be the place to discuss this :)

Short term, probably. However, the long term goal, if I understand it correctly, would certainly require numbers larger than e308, the current maxlimit.

I don't think so tbh. If you can track the generation rates exponentially, and then have a function that sets marks in the generation rate that automatically reduce the fraction, you would essentially be computing smaller decimals, quicker, right?

It also comes down to individual play style, as well. Good points, but ultimately that is an answer I don't know. With each update, there is the possibility of number squishing. However, I am looking at the long term focus and believe that e308 may be too small. In light of the possibility of the game going (in game) universal, planets, stars, anomalies, galaxies, exploration, the numbers will keep getting bigger. Best to have the suggestion now.

Well, I believe that some form of 'number squishing' is already being implemented, as it would be unnecessarily wasteful to perform computation of extremely large numbers. If it were upto me, I'd have also implemented a threshold of sorts, wherein relatively negligible contributions would be ignored entirely, if not compensated for later.
Rather than viewing it as (1 million+ ... + 100 million) units being generated, wouldn't it be better to view it as 1 unit of 100 million points + 0.01 unit of 100 million points? This reduces computational complexity and the need for extremely large numbers as well, I presume.
Truth be told, if this was an open source project in a language I'm familiar with, I'd have contributed to it in a heartbeat, in any way I could've

There's the engine that Antimatter Dimensions uses that allows anything up to like 1e(1e308) numbers or something like that?
Even then the max number for a double though is 1.8e308 or something like that.
And I don't think math with doubles gets more computationally intensive the larger the number gets?

There's a lot of cool uses you can do with the upgrade mode though, like easily zoom through the entire evolution tree much quicker after you've rebooted

I love seeing people talk about time skipping in games, when they don't realize that it messes up the rewards if you go ahead of your current day. In most games, if you time skip, let's say 3 years, and then go back to your date, you won't get daily rewards for the next 3 years. I've seen a few people on Reddit talk about doing that in this game and it's amusing

Hello. When grinding the dinosaur levels for prestiges, is there any point getting every geode or should I just trigger extinction as soon as it is available?

If I shut the game off for at least an hour, I come back to a billion more metabits, almost none of which counts towards my earned total according to the new display. I turn the computer off overnight, so that can be nine hours between sessions, and I don't earn much more than a billion metabits. I am extremely confused by this game's production system.

Well there are two solutions.
#1: Get to prestige 10 in MV (that's the only thing to do to fully complete the game)
#2: Wait for the next update. The update will include 2 new reality engine upgrades to spend your metabits on.
#1 will help by a small amount
and #2 will help a lot
