Snakes are better fully upgraded than the animals leading up to the neoaves. That wouldn't be an issue if the things before neoaves had extremely pricy upgrades that make them barely better than the snake.

Level of... Mesozoic valley? There's ranks (shown as a number on main sim over dino sim button or at the top where you normally call the meteor). As far as knowing which prestige level of MV you're in - not entirely sure. Have yet to reach that point myself.

• Going underwater in Mesozoic Valley used to cause a null error and messed up the blue water fog and the underwater ambient sounds would not play. This has been fixed.

When you have upgraded your Dino speed to x-amount/s. What is the point upgrading the speed further?

That's kinda what I was thinking. The common geodes give you such a low percentage chance of the rare/epic cards that it seems like you're really grinding for not a lot. Probably better to get to lvl 50 ASAP then pop your diamonds.

This is incorrect. Metabits do get progressively harder to farm. The formula for total number of metabits is (Entropy + Ideas) ^ (1/3) / 10000 - 1.
To give you an idea of how fast they scale, your first metabit is 8 trillion total entropy and ideas, while your one billionth metabit (i.e. going from 999,999,999 metabits to 1,000,000,000 metabits) is 3e30 entropy and ideas.

It's "easier" in the sense that the simulation is running so much faster after every reset, but they do get progressively harder to grind, especially once you reach the end of the evolution tree.

@naive prawn So when you idle, you're only getting 20% base of your active income (plus modifiers, which, depending on where you are the game puts you at anywhere from 20% to 35%ish). So the x2 "while you were gone" is still significantly slower than if you were keeping it active constantly.

I think the sim speed is based of the amount of meta bits you have and upgrades. That's why the upgrades get exponentially more expensive, you need to make the upgrades be more beneficial than the amount of meta bits they cost. if X=B but if upgrade C costs X and isn't as good as B then why get C. That's just my theory

btw in the example X is the amount of meta bits available to be used on upgrades that's why the sim gets faster when you reset.

@desert pebble I wouldn't recommend rebooting at 40 metabits every time as that will just not get you much more progress that you need, you should try to get at least half of your total metabits or more if you're able to. Also, look at the pinned messages on this channel and you'll see a pinned message from me that might be able to help you, but it might be also slightly outdated.
