@north wagon I think it will never happen. As you go on, a single metabit will cost more but the metabits you have obtained will make you produce faster, so it's like a circle. A more interesting question would be, when do you reach the point of stop, that's the point when production speed will go up with the same speed of metabits cost. I don't think you can reach a point where a single metabit will cost you more than what you are producing, or if it exists, it's so far you will never reach it
With 130B metabits I am quite close to the point of stop I think

lol i think i got a relatively ok strategy for mesozoic valley
ight so when u start u upgrade the dinos until they cost more than they produce
upgrade the cheaper upgrades first cause they are more than likely for new dinos that will end up producing tons fmore than other things
whenever u get enough to upgrade and them all the same go for the highest production ones first
and only upgrade the low dinos when they are the last things left as even though they are low production, can still produce a lot like archosaur and ornithischia together with all their upgrades at level 9 will get u to trillions within the start of those 2
i mean they only useful at the beggining but the more u got the less u have to spend buying 300 archosaurs cause of that quest that requires u to get like 403 of them
also if u get a new dino and it produces less than it takes to buy, i recommend that instead of wasting ur time getting like 200 quadrillion every 20 seconds on a dino that costs 20 sextillion

Strategy for meso is very easy: DON'T spend mutagen on upgrading dinos if not strictly necessary. That is, don't upgrade common cards more than level 7/8, except for the last dinos, eoraptor, mosasaurus, argentinosaurus and giganotosaurus
The producer must always be the last dino you have unlocked, or the dino before last if you have just unlocked a new dino. If it's not so, you have done something wrong or something not so smart
For the first dinos, until about theropoda, it's not necessary to upgrade common cards over lvl 4/5, even at low prestige. Doing that is a totally waste of mutagen

I'll explain it better: for example, you upgrade archosaur. Then you unlock ornitischia, your upgraded archo becomes unuseful. Then you upgrade orni, and you unlock stego, and orni become unuseful, and so on. I am not saying you must not upgrade at all: you should only upgrade your actual producer, and not more than what is necessary to do the quests

@unborn scarab it's totally impossible. Mutagen you obtain during the 10 prestiges isn't even nearly sufficient to max out ONLY rares and epics. From lvl 15 and above, one level costs 400k mutagen. Even supposing to have the cards you need to upgrade, it will need you 2M for a single card, and there are 13 cards, so 26M only to take them from 15 to 20. If you save mutagen during the 10 prestiges, you can reach about 4M with cards level 10-12, so basically:
Once you have finished Mesozoic valley, you will need nearly 25M mutagen more to max out rare and epic cards.
With the 4hour stone geode, it means you will need 12 years to max out epic and rares

What Baltor says. It's not linear, but it's pretty close to it: if you double your total metabits you gain roughly double (slightly less) the production, even without buying reality engine upgrades. And since it only looks at total metabits, it doesn't matter if you spend them (so you don't need to worry about optimising your metabits between spent and unspent)
