At lvl 50 Mesozoic Valley, the game resets (you 'prestige'), letting you keep your rare and epic cards, your mutagen, and giving you a boost card too. Opening a diamond geode at lvl 50 will give you the most mutagen and epic & rare cards, so it's the best time to do it, just before you prestige

Don't know the optimum, I expect it would change as metabits scale with the cube root of ideas and entropy while they only scale linearly with metabits, but I tend to reset at around +25% total metabits since I'm at my wall

That happens only when you reach Singularity the very first time. But you get some boni for the second and following rounds. And from then on Singularity will behave like any other generator a few things will get unlocked.

near the mystery trait, u can buy 2 traits... Each one of those, will only show 2 different traits, so buy one, shows the other, buy that , then shows the first, buy that and shows the other , and goes on, u can max out the traits u want very fast that way
