@desert pebble the game has been getting updated, if you haven’t noticed that there’s The Mesozoic Valley and the game is still being updated. The beta testers have been trying some new mechanics for Mesozoic Valley that have been added into beta which takes some time to be fully released due to the bugs that need to be found and fixed. Also, there isn’t exactly a best rank; Paleontologist and Reality Expert just show you’ve unlocked T-Rex and reached a million metabits, beta tester just means you’re a beta tester, which is good to have a lot of beta testers so we can have more people to find bugs for the game.
P.S. hopefully this lengthy paragraph isn’t a bothersome thing to read

yeah that will actually improve the gameplay a lot after you buy all the upgrades. i recommend to buy the simulation speed and background idle capacity. these are the most effective ones. for example i have every simulation speed upgrade and 1 amino acid gives ~3M per second.

@shrewd ingot that part of the game is meant to take a bit of time, just some patience and time will help you get there. Also, an efficient way to collect metabits would be to reboot after the metabit collection progress starts to get a lot slower than usual

@dreamy agate, sorry I didn't make myself clear. I'm on L32 and need at least another 60+ dino's on three different types to get to that point [a Meteor strike] and with the vast amount of points required it'll take quite literally ages as I've got no where near the required scores for the past month and I'll be buggered if I'm going to log in each and every day to boost my score, let alone buy my way to completion either. The required score is laughable, to say the least. The message came up, about L32 and it being the completion of the current version, way after I had started on the next level (L33 which currently doesn't exist... yet?) So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. As a result of that. I'm leaving it as it is, and not bothering with it at all. Basically the game is now completed, on both parts, for me, in its current state. so it's game over.

@desert pebble done that. Think it or the update is affecting my game. Keep having "game save conflict" box popping up and end up losing geodes. For example, I watched a video to double geodes into the Qa, "cloud save conflict box" appeared, took me back to the main startup screen, re-entered mesozoic period, and my geodes was down into the Trillions
