As you progress your amount of the various currencies grows a lot, so things will always become affordable. Having said that, I prioritise things that give me Research Chips then things that give me Metabits and Knowledge.

I think I found a bug with the diseases event. I started the event and immediately clicked the screen and activated the Nanobots. At this point, since I haven't unlocked the Human Life generator, I should only have the Human Life currency unlocked and not yet the Diseases currency, but the Nanobots were collecting the Diseases currency despite it not yet being unlocked and they were collecting it much faster than the Human Life currency.

There has been a vaccine(s) developed which is on the WHO list of essential medicines - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaria_vaccine. ~~ Sorry, it does have an upgrade, it's just the wiki has put it somewhere else.

Oops. Vaccines already exist in game though, but maybe they might want to consider adding an upgrade to cover other methods used to reduce malaria transmission (nets, controlling water sources, releasing sterile female mosquitos?)

Most of this would typically be considered the 'boostrap' section which is usually easier than the rest of the event

Has anyone found a way to get ads that can be skipped sooner with fewer clicks? I remember the ads being a lot less annoying a year or two ago -- they could all be skipped with one click after 30 seconds, and a lot of them could be skipped after 5. (Spending real money on the game won't be an option until I have a job again.)

You could do an empty sim. You could progress Meso/Beyond/get event badges for their boost to primary (not sure where you're at with those). Or buy things with logits / Darwinium.

Fandom has a massive problem with ads. They obscure the content to a large degree, and tend to be very performance-heavy and incredibly intrusive. On desktop, with ad blockers, this is less of a concern, but on mobile it's nigh unusable.
Relatedly, though less significantly, the page layout is inefficient and distracting. There are a lot of extraneous elements surrounding the actual article content, which also impact load times and responsiveness.
From an editing perspective, I've found Fandom to be a lot more restrictive than other platforms in regards to layout, extensions, etc.

My experience hasn't been great, for starters fandom heats up my steam deck while editing, and it just sucks on mobile. There are a lot of ads (Although I have an ad blocker so I don't have to deal with them). The wiki should definitely move.
