The Logit upgrades for the Beyond only affect certain generators. The Augments for Primary sim affect ALL Entropy or Ideas generators.
You should progress past the section of the Beyond that a Logit Artifact would boost faster than you can earn the Logits to afford said Artifact.

For Example, this Telescope Artifact only affects Terrestrial Planets. That's only Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Nothing beyond that; not even Jupiter.

Beyond works similarly to the rest of the game in that the vast majority of your production comes from the most recent generator or two. So anything that affects earlier stuff quickly becomes irrelevant.

I'm not sure there's a way to check the download date, but if you go to the store page there's an option to "view your stats," which will pull up your achievements list along with the dates you got each (the regular achievements list doesn't have dates).
