Might be something they are considering. A while ago they asked for ideas for Beyond Prestige: that type of thing would have been included in the suggestion I made.

prestige is usually kinda boring and repetitive, i'd prefer for smth like the future and past of the universe, i also like the models of beyond , and we got like 3 galaxies only, while like pandoras cluster and some other galaxies were mentioned which sounds cool along with a gravitational lens effect, another cool effect would be a redshift where if u zoom out the celestial bodies become redder, also why was the velocity counter removed?

no, the key is playing the event multiple times. The badges you get make it go faster each time

I'm surprised to be in top 10 with only a 30% boost, so I have a feeling I got lucky and landed in a less competitive division

on that note another thing that helps is waiting some time to start the exploration, because a lot of competitive players start right at the beginning. If you've got the 4x ad boost and have completed an event before give it at least a few hours before jumping in

As predak says, if you can get enough Reality Engine upgrades from a shorter run it may be better. If you can't, you didn't wait long enough.
Around level 47 you should still be progressing fast enough that spamming runs for metabits is probably viable (if tedious)

I mean really fast. Like 5 ~ 15 minutes. So you do a bunch of those and buy an upgrade, and it's faster than doing a 1hr wait run
But idling is easier for sure

On a different note, fuck human body. Tried scripting and just optimizing the first few upgrades is annoying.
The idea is easy: buy Brains when you can (since they cost Red, which can't be used for anything else yet), and balance Hearts (for more Brains) against saving for the upgrades.
Except it's better to front-load the hearts, so every additional upgrade you're optimizing for means delaying the previous ones, which means you can't iterate or you get stuck in local maxima.
So to traverse the gradient descent curve beyond those humps you have to expand the solution space, which balloons the runtime.

Like, if I aim for just Frontal Lobe I can get it in 24:25 w/ 5 Hearts (remember, no clicking)
But if I aim for Eyes, I should be delaying my Frontal Lobe to 25:26 so I can get another 3 Hearts.
And I'm sure Temporal/Parietal Lobe will have the same problem.

Once I get generators other than Brains it'll be a real mess.

Science is just 'ranking points' for your division. Your rank determines what rewards you get at the end of the event.
You get science for every generator (and upgrade?) you purchase. You also get a bonus for starting a new CL. From CL2 onwards, you also get some for each objective you complete.

Honestly, I don't really know. I know that for some players most of their generation comes from the Sun now Episode 30 is a thing. For me Messier 87 is the best earner. Episode 30 was very fast for me. I think because I have a lot of leveled up traits. Both from blue stars and black holes. I do not know which carried me through those final endgame upgrades like Flat Universe.
