• Darwinium is best spent on Modules and Darwinium upgrades in the Primary Simulation, then on Diamond Geodes in the Mesozoic Valley (especially in Extinction 50) or Blue Stars/Black Holes in the Beyond. Aside from those, it's best used for time fluxes and x4 boost in explorations, since they can be hard for new players. You can spend it for an extra Astronomy Mission slot in the Beyond as well.

I've not bothered working out for sure if the effect of the augments/modules/upgrades is reflected in the sorting thing (but I don't think they are).

I think compilers and capacitors (and other multipliers that scale by the number of generators) also somewhat break the sorting thing though. Again I haven't mathed it, but I think it's best to get a large number of cheap generators rather than saving up for one of your most effective generator.

Probably not clear here, but this shows the income gained by getting a +1 generator of each type
As you can see by comparing with the 'Rate' column of the previous, that means the value of any generator is outweighed by its contribution to the Capacitor bonus (EXCEPT Mollusk)

Even Jellyfish is slightly weaker, at +7.23e141 per Jelly itself vs +7.9E141 from a stronger Ocean Capacitor
