If you get it back or start a new file, then it'd be a good idea to use the cross platform save manager (in the 3 line menu>save manager) and save your file that way. It's generally more reliable than Google Play. There's a pinned comment by TheQuickFox with instructions if you need them.

For the 100-multiple nodes that about the same cost, I tend to go for Metabit/jnowledge boosts, then sim speed ones, then entropy/ideas.

Anything that scales based on number of things you have should be considered, as they can be very strong.

For things that boost specific types of generator, best to look at your stats tab to see if it'll be useful.

But, regardless, because your income grows, things that seem expensive now will soon be cheap. So no need to stress too much

Playtime will vary wildly between players and mostly platforms. It's the time that the game was actively open. Like with the screen going and animations going. Not the idle time. Therefore mobile-only players will have a low play time (As the phone will turn of the screen after a few minutes) and the Steam / PC version can have a long time as some players just leave their game open for days and days.

Not so far in the beta patch notes. There are 4 nodes in the RE tree that are time related that you will need to get (2 for metabits side, 2 for knowledge side), to get the results I list. It will be nerfed way more in comparison if you don't.

(by 5x for entropy/ideas, 10x for metabits/knowledge, the latter which is already 100x worse than pre-update)

That's up to you. Pre-update, a 21d3h empty sim run would give you about 10 Million X more Metabits and Ideas (all time nodes bought) compared to a quick run. You do the math based on what your quick runs give you 🙂

Yes, but it requires being willing to play a bunch and probably being on mobile so you can watch ads (depends on whether you count that as spending).
I'm top 10 most events, and am up to 152 black holes and 34 neutron stars. The only thing I paid for was the two permanant for $ upgrades in primary (to support the game). But I play a fair bit, and am good at the arithmetic to work out what is best to purchase.

If you have a running Steam instance of the game, you can prevent it from updating in two ways (that I have personally tried and that work) 1: put and keep the game in Offline mode. 2: Copy the existing install dir for Cells (in … steamapps\common\…) to somewhere. Let it update. (optional: move that updated dir structure somewhere). Copy that saved installed dirs from before the update, back.

Okay yeah Philosophy is gonna be a bit better for you because the Code of Laws node you unlock from it is gonna double that Bronze Age production to 1.25e54/s which is a little significant to your total production. It'l bump your total production to 1.58e58/s so its not a whole lot of boost but it is something. Polar Bear doesn't unlock anything else anyway

My autoclicking caps out at around 700-950. This is on PC where you can only have one mouse arrow. There auto clicking is also limited to the FPS your game runs at. So even if you could do a million clicks per second, the game will stop registering them. You can get more FPS when you put the game in high performance mode, have more powerful hardware, a high FPS monitor or by disabling vsync. Android allows for multiple autoclicking fingers so in theory you may be able to get more clicks/second there.
