theres an upgrade in the reality engine called the time crystal, and these give a buff to your metabits/ideabits everytime you fill them up, but the problem is that this buff only applies when you fill them, so if you complete all your fills before the buff is maxed you lose out on alot of stuff

Yea Polaris good, to decide what to upgrade next I compare the cost to do a full rank vs how much it gains. And remember it always multiplies by 3 on rank up . You can see how much for rank by clicking the 1x button and choosing rank

Just depends on their overall gain if you send screenshot I can probably help better

cause you base what you wanna upgrade off of by how much it costs, it’s gain after 3x and the increase, and also if you’re close to unlocking the next card upgrade

A pretty safe Strat tho is unlock the new one, then upgrade previous one if cheaper, then upgrade new one, repeat until new one. Won’t always work but if you don’t wanana think too hard that works good enough

Okay. So the first thing I would do if I were you would be to install cells on your mobile phone, login with that email and password and download your save file onto your phone.

(this makes sure you have a working game file on a working version - even if it's just a temporary thing until your steam cells gets fixed)

It’s also possible it’s trying to load an old save from before then and erroring out for some reason. A workaround is to disable steam saves for that game in Steam, close Steam, relaunch, try to go into the game again. You can then download the save you moved to your phone (within Save Manager inside the game) though you might have to play the fresh install for a few minutes to get to the point where you can access Settings

You can play as long as you want. You will be level capped at, I think, one expansion less than the current, and won't be able to access the current expac's content. Some other restrictions (social ones) and you can make fewer characters. Not sure if you can access the in-game auction house, but you don't need that to progress. Otherwise, you have access to nearly everything I think.
