anyone who has experienced performance issues in the beyond world? most the cutscenes are just a slideslow and especially upgrading universe which seems to be a long animation literally takes like 10 minutes

I did see a bug like that not too long ago in #1010249890414202880 I believe, but for opening geodes instead. I reopening the game doesn't help, my first guess would be it's a hardware thing, but I'm no expert in that

Cells never crashes for me, but I'm endgame so I don't remember if there was any way to interrupt. I think there was, but I wouldn't swear to it. Press Escape, perhaps? (if on Steam)

Doesn't clicking/tapping once advance to the next spoken line? (and so several quickly will make the cutscene go quickly?)

Have you tried putting it in power save mode? It's in the settings and I think it makes the game less resource intensive and therefore less likely to lag, but ngl I haven't taken the game out of power save mode since I started so take that with a grain of salt

Good point. Putting it in a lower resolution (taking it out of full screen) has definitely helped with lag on other games I've played

Honestly I don’t see how it’s not like maybe it’s different on mobile, but I see a bunch of different individual text things which seem like “threads”., and then there’s the big button to say “create thread” which also says above it “this is a threads only channel”

So idk maybe its obvious to people who use discords more advanced features a ton, but as someone who uses discord in general a decent amount for games and stuff, not only did I have no clue channels had descriptions but those seem like threads to me. Are they not threads? Cause idk what I see seems like what a thread would be

yeah when you create a thread all you can see of it is the title without clicking it open, whereas the little bot messages don't even have a title, just who said it and the full message visible

they're distinctively visually different tho that's fair not to know the difference if you're not super experienced with Discord bots and whatnot

Idk like if it’s gonna auto delete or someone deleted them manually (booo :c ) then it would probably be really helpful to people if a bot sent you the contents of the suggestion / message so you could resend it. Cause I feel like I’m probably not the only one who’s had a suggestion who submitted it and spent like 10-15 minutes writing it out, and then it’s gone and just get bummed out and decide to just not do it

You either watch ads or pay IP if you want the benefit. Either way, the devs get paid, as is reasonable. And if you don't want to, you don't get the benefit, but the game is then totally free. So that gives those players the ability to play the game, so that's good.

yes. The bonuses start leveling off somewhat after 200%, I'm at around 250% to 275% on most events, for instance. The higher the bonus, the less amount you get the next time around. > 300% would be difficult.

Maybe try re-enacting ||Farenheit 451||? Or can you think of some things in the gardens that are ||famous for having hidden things||? Or ||for keeping them safe||? You best be quick, though. Very quick 🙂.

Yeah if you're trying to log in in-game, that's a separate account you'll need to create if you haven't already. It's not linked to anything else, it's just for having manual saves and playing the same save on multiple devices

At any rate, without more information, I can't really say. One option you could do regardless is to spam reboot.. though that gets tedious and you really will want to use an Autoclicker and be on PC, if you do.

Honestly, at this point, to get you over the "hump" (so to speak), best to do an "empty sim run" for a few weeks.. and do content in the other parts of the game while you wait.

Ok, the global leaderboards have always been bugged. It might have said 250, but you weren't, and we don't even know how it's calculated. It also lumps in beta in there, and... well, it's meaningless. You also don't need to spend any real-life money, it just takes longer without. To give you an example of an empty sim run's benefits from my own info a few weeks ago.. I spent about 10 minutes doing a run and got 370E21/370Sx.. then an empty sim run for that 21d3h I keep mentioning, got me 3.79E30 (3.79No) knowledge. So, about 10 000 000x.

... Ah, you're in beta. Well, that doesn't change what I said, unless they've nerfed empty sim runs. As far as I know, they haven't.

So.. like I said.. do an empty sim run, and keep doing events (like you've been doing) as they come up. And you should be in a much better position once that 21 game days has elapsed and you complete the run.

If you are going to do "short sim runs", ie: 10 minutes, then spend it as you earn it, bc they'll apply to the next run. Don't do sim runs of a few days, that's suboptimal. What you really will want to do is empty sim runs for as long as it takes to cap your Time nodes in Reality Engine. That is IMMENSELY better than short run.. like, millions of times better, if you are talking the full 21 days 3 hours when having all time nodes.

Ok, and you already have KTC 1, KTC 1, KTC2, MBTC 1, ETC 1, ETC 2. Yeah, ok, Metabit Time Chamber is within reach at 7.7 B cost (so 15 reboots).. but if you don't do that, then the ones you have will cap out at about 5.6 days, so.. so an empty sim run with that. Then buy time nodes and any other cheap stuff.

Heh. I've done quite a few myself, normally at the beginning of an update, to get the "easy" nodes in Reality Engine. Works great!

The 5.6 days, is when you go past the first node and buy all the generators. Once you've gotten as far in primary as you can, wait the 10 or 20 minutes or whatever for the fills, then reboot the sim, spend your points (making sure to get time nodes where you can), then repeat the whole process.

Oh, and I would actually suggest you spam reboot the 15 times to get Metabit Time Chamber 3. You'll get 100x more entropy when you do the 7 day empty sim run, and metabits will improve as well.

You don't, actually. You get the dailies anyway, you just won't be able to see it, until the 24 hours has elapsed since your last claim.. it'll pop up and be claimable once it has.

So I unlocked Mesozoic and Beyond and noticed they feel awfully similar to other generator/resource idle games like Adventurer Capitalist/Communist and had a question:
Is it necessary here to save up upgrades for the 'upgrade X traits' quest? I recall back in Adventure Communist where I bumped into a wall due to not having enough # of upgrades to complete such quest, and having to wait quite a while for resource to gather up so I could perform the upgrades.

I did a lot of dinosaur one when I got to that point and dinosaur unlocks a LOT of extremely good generators at that point of game. Like some of my best generators are ||birds|| which all came from Mesozoic valley from what I remember. But also ||crocodile lizard and turtle|| which are really good and get you past that hump

Also a bit unrelated but but there’s an generator unlocked down the ungulates line which is REALLY good eventually, (I got it when I was around research level 40 I think. idk if it’s from research level or Mesozoic valley though)

I've put in a good number of hours over the last few days, so I gave in and took the offer.

I say $20 because I also grabbed the 2X CPU chips from the shop.

So I got 41 days of ad skip, 800 cubes, and 2X Ent & 2X Ideas for $21.

I feel pretty good about it. 😀

Me and my wife have been playing Gatcha games since 2016. I know what it feels like to drop $100 chasing a PNG. So giving these devs $21 for mostly permanent account upgrades feels pretty good by comparison lmao.
