It's been a while since I made progress Beyond and Meso, but if things are still the same:
Beyond is very slow, make sure keep missions always going. Don't waste your constellation stars, and you can usually ignore any generators except the latest 3. Don't waste Dark Matter or Stardust upgrading them or their cards too much (but when it's relatively cheap, you can). Before you prestige, rank up everything to get some more Dark Matter and trait cards
Meso is quick but doing all 50 + prestige will take time. Don't waste your...blue currency? Since that was the limiting factor for me. Grab the free Geode whenever it's up

I've had some sleep and had some time to consider things. I've decided to continue in the game, flaws and all. While Beyond, Meso, Events have been 100% solid, I can't say the same thing for Primary and Reality Engine since the revamp. IMO there's real flaws with it as designed and also how it's been implemented in practice. Nothing that can't be fixed, mind you (and I believe I know how, from the design standpoint if not the actual coding), but while those flaws are there, I will feel no guilt for using anything I come across, to progress. The game is as it is, and I'm playing it on that basis. That's my 2c, atm. Now.. onto cheesing more levels 🙂

like my only complaint really is time crystals, as like one of two of them are okay but once you get a lot of them you are basicly required to wait a few dayhs beetwen reboots
