I'm of the opinion that if you've purchased stuff (so your fill rate is very slow) you might was well reboot shortly after idea chambers fill. The rate of progress I saw slowed down a lot at that point.
If you're doing the cytoplasm or nothing strat, then you wait till day 21.

My estimate was I wouldn't get GE by day 21 when I rebooted.

From the measurements I had, my knowledge/s (normalized across 10 or so fills) was increasing by almost 2x/day up till around when my idea chambers maxed out. At that point, the fills were so slow that I couldn't get good measurements, but the best case was the rate was going up a little, and the worst case was the rate was going down.

I can see there is a "Cartalaginous Skeleton" upgrade for 2.67e18 points, but it only upgrades Fish by x3. Fish are only producing a tiny tiny fraction of my points. So what is the purpose of this upgrade? x3 Fish will make no difference at all to my overall production.

Is there any benefit in primary to work on prestige of mesozoic valley? I just got to prestige 3, but it's a pretty boring grind. I think in an older version it maybe used to contribute to game speed. I'm on Android if it matters.

The wiki says:

Each rank of the Mesozoic Valley increases the speed of the Primary Simulation by 1 + (rank / 100), (which can be increased by Reality Engine upgrades) so rank 1 gives a 1.01x multiplier, rank 2 gives 1.02x, up to rank 50 giving 1.5x.

The multiplier for the Primary Simulation is retained and even increased just like from a rank increase.

Oh it seems like I need this beta upgrade for it to work now?

Does this just change the multiplier from 1 to 1.01?

e24 seems pretty expensive for that upgrade...

I don't see anything here that makes me think that Mesozoic Valley does anything in primary without the beta upgrade.

the wiki is outdated on parts of the reality engine tho

before the reality reboot you used to get that tiny boost for every extinction
but now you only get it for the first 50 extinctions

so prestiges dont give a boost to the main sim

but the geodes are a good source of dwarnium

you can get like 20 or 30 dwarnium per prestige

plus there's no way anyone is getting the gigantosaur achievement without prestiging

im gonna be honest getting singularity under 2 minutes with the reality reboot could genuinely be impossible

like i have almost everything maxed out but the huge sheer amount of upgrades is so much

even with an autoclicker getting every upgrade still takes a little over 2 minutes

even when every upgrade is unlocked instantly
