Scientific is also not consistent in the game with the mantissa, it doesn’t stay with the fixed format of A.AAAEBBB like one would expect. Plus, Custom is visually easier (for me and I assume those that prefer it) to compare values. It’s only downside is when you are trying to do math with it in the context of figuring out formulas and the like, but I don’t do that, that’s more your and Tescoo’s entertainment 🙂

Is this a thing that’s already in the beta/they’ve confirmed will come to live? If so, and if i understand it correctly, we will really want to get as high a level as possible before that next update.

I don't claim to be super literate either.. but, essentially, individual stocks are risky, whereas ETFs spread out the risk. The index overall always goes up over time (since the Great Depression in the 1930s), with ofc some brief downturns that always recover.. so, an index ETF like OEF (in the US) is pretty safe. That said, AI crash will come, and with AI being the corporate buzzword these days to the point of stupidity, I pivoted to the Canadian index instead.

Well, I used to say that you reboot the RE when you can afford upgrades, but that has become a bit more relative. I can't tell you how it works for anything below "everything from before the great upgrade unlocked".

So, unsatisfying as it may be, I can only advise you to experiment and observe.

You can't loose anything, you can't go wrong. Only one thing to be careful about: there are 2 achievements that become really hard to get when you progress too much

You generally want to save up as much mutagen as possible until the final prestige of Mesozoic Valley. Your progress will be slower now, since you won’t upgrade your generators as much, but it pays off in the end. Pretty sure there’s a detailed guide about it somewhere which explains it dilligently.

At each prestige, your traits are resetted, so the mutagen you spent for those is sort of wasted. So you want to minimize the amount of mutagen you spend up until there's no more reset.

Regarding primary sim, no direct benefit to doing prestiges.

However if you want the last Meso achievement you'll want to do prestiges. And - as Meso gets substantially faster after prestiges (especially if you use a diamond geodes at levels 48-50) it's a decent way of getting Darwinium (because of all the geodes). Is boring though.

Well, the main tip I have is if you are progressing slowly, upgrade (do the rebirth/prestige mechanic), and get as many upgrades in the reality engine as you can to help your progression.

A few of us are attempting the "buy nothing" strategy and it looks promising. (To get GE asap, it probably hurts your leveling) By the time the chambers and crystals get up to anything significant, fills take forever. So the theory is to sit in an empty simulation for 10-21 days, letting the chambers and crystals build up before buying anything.

Some of it is more exponential than linear so it can be slow at first then really pick up. Idea Chambers max out around 10 days and I think the Idea Crystals take 21 days.
I dont know the stats for the entropy side.
