best way to learn a language is full immersion and to NOT learn the grammar, this is all something you pick up subconsciously, just as kids do. Your brain is evolved to learn languages fast, but by it's own neural net method, not by textbooks and reading and such. Doesn't mean that one can't learn that way, but you won't ever be as fluent.

Or transcriptions are written in such a way their symbols are closer to the languages characters, like how english /ɹ/ is often transcribed as /r/ even though it has never been a trill

and the fact that like half of all english diphthongs are actually glides but 90% of transcriptions actually never show it

My wife lived in Japan for 20 years. She’s quite fluent with Japanese. She will never be as good in it as she is in English, but she is good enough to communicate in a Japanese working job with no issues.

Why is it so accepted in this game to cheat?
Pretty new on the server but already saw multiple cheated save screenshots here and on the reddit its even worse.
Why people dont get yeeted?

Cells is largely a single player game (except for events) so cheating in the primary sim isn't bad per se.

I take my steer from the Devs/mods: they don't ban people for cheating - they chuck them into div 666 in events, move them to the cheater leaderboard and sometimes remove their discord roles. I do tend to just ignore those people who pretend that they haven't cheated and or just come along saying 'huh huh look at dis'.

Oh, and also some weird stuff happened in recent-ish alpha and beta testing so for those people it's more like benefiting from glitches, or abusing bugs. Which isn't cheating.

It's basically down to each of us how we respond.

the level req goes off your lifetime xp, so from every simulation, the lvl before 70 takes like e250? so when you pass on to 70 you have e250, which is larger than 0 so you instantly pass it too

the xp req for 71 is what it would be for 70, 72 for 71 so on

so after the update gaining xp after level 70 will be harder than it used to be

people might complain when they see their xp req go up e30

As an aside I find it funny when people complain about specific numbers (like a cost) going up, when they ignore that their other numbers (like income) has also gone up.

no level is only ever changed when you press the level up button

so let's say someone is lvl 71 now, post update they'll stay lvl 71, but they have xp corresponding to a lvl 70, the xp bar will get freaked out and show nothing, until they pass the new 71 req

when the update comes out all of the xp reqs for levels will shift, if you're on lvl 71 now you need the req for 72, but post update you'd need the req for 73

Hey guys this has probably been pointed out/answered already but why is the time chambers for ideas so different than the ones for entropy?
The multiplier for ideas build up faster and the increasing levels build up faster the higher the level vs the entropy multiplier which are slower the higher the level

Apparently the idea ones have a small exponential component as well, whereas the entropy ones only have a linear one.

on the point of the formulas, idea both TCh and Tcry use ~exp+lin, but only the entropy Tcry uses exp+lin, with TCh using just lin

also they prob just took the original formulas pre RR and removed the exp term, since they have the same linear component
