However, I doubt I'll be able to buy GE straight off once I reach Day 11. My feeble math intuition tells me I'll need to buy RE nodes to get what I need to potentially get GE on a following idle run

Reboot-spam. Buy all the generators you can afford (don't worry about the most efficient individual generator very much - the effect of compilers outweigh that). Make sure you know where your income is coming from (check the stats page in the RE) and focus on upgrading RE nodes that boost them.

Your entropy is likely from land generators ATM. It will switch to primordial generators once you get to Primordial.Power VII 7-ish.

money is prob the most unique, followed by extinction, then rocks, then deceases (Deceases doesnt have any special mechanics as u already know, but the way its build is so fitting and maakes it so unique), then both AI an bees and then music (the only unique thing about music is the fact u can... yes... make music by tapping.
the other ones just are simple clicking for traits and upgrades. some being better then others
