Sounds like you created a new account rather than a new save? In which case your old account will still be there, taking the name (logging out of it won't delete it).

You could log back into the old account and change the name it has, then log back into your new account and change to that name.

Your old player ID still exists on the servers of the game and that ID holds your in-game user name. You can try to load your old save (Which has your old player ID). Either from your local saves or from crossplatform saves (If you made them). Then change your player name there to something else before you create a new game with a new player ID.

You can do this: Register an account for crossplatform save (You should absolutely use this anyway) Then save your new game there.
You can as extra backup go to https://celltosingularity.com/play/ and load your new game from the crossplatform save you just created. Exit the browser game.
Then go to your phone again. Load your old save from your old player ID. Change your player name to something else. This hopefully frees up your player name.
Then load your new game using the crossplatform save and see if your user name is available now.

My current advice is to at least let the game run for one week after resetting, in this way your time chamber will reach it's maximum x100 boosting. Ideally you then do some autoclicking to make good profit of the 100x boosting and when you think you have enough metabits/knowledge to upgrade your reality engine then go for it.

Other strategy is just keep resetting (reset, activate nanobots, buy generators and upgrades, take a shooting star, (auto)click like crazy and then reset again. Players say this is the fastest way to upgrade your reality engine but of course it is grinding.

resetting the event for the first time gives 500, then 1000...
tasks after restarting once also give these points, with badges being replaced by 100/200/300 points

generally you don't need to intentionally buy generators that don't give anything until right before the event ends or right before you reset
you may wait for a little longer after getting the final upgrade if it buffs a generator, otherwise just reset

the only exception is extinction event, where you should also wait for a while to buy more generators before triggering each extinction

Ah. It wasn't clear. We're not sure how the number of fills varies. But it seems pretty easy to get 500-1000 fills. People have said they get very bored well before getting to 500 reboots.

If you're doing more reboot/upgrades than that, maybe make a cloud save, do the practices, then download the cloud save before trying properly. Or just wait to get however many fills you need.

The effect they have (multiplier) grows as the time since your last reboot grows. Up to 100. So, all 3 together is 100x100x100.

You're nearing the end of the current primary content. It's largely a case of waiting for more primary content or rebooting to push it further while buying all the generators you can (to boost the compilers/capacitors).

I think there's only two major upgrades left in the RE tree? So it's incremental there too. Although getting to Primordial Power VII 8 will cause a shift.

Late game it becomes so hard to upgrade. I started only half a year ago so I don’t have all the badges others have but I fully got all achievements in both meso and beyond and only missing 3 of the amphibians ones. Research lvl 67 and the upgrades are killer.

Yeah, partway through 67 and the cost of things are insane. Can pretty much buy 1 upgrade out of 100 each prestige. And if you are min maxing can hit every 5-10 minutes of active game time or otherwise 8-16 hours of inactive time

Hey guys, so today I randomly made a cycle reset and I noticed there were these small milestone rewards that have never happened before. (See Fig.1 — circled blue)

Then I sort of absentmindedly collected them all after finishing my cycle, and then I noticed I had these “extra” research chips, because I recall I had only 1 before this cycle. (See Fig.2)

Also a lot of Darwinium (around 130?), which I used some on the Kappa Module. Maybe I shouldn’t have made that dopamine move, but oh well.

So can someone help me out on a few questions:

1. Are the milestones perfectly normal, and if so, are they something recent? (i.e. why am I seeing this now?)

2. Do the milestone rewards include research chips and Darwinium?

I reckon this wouldn’t be a bug, which is why I am writing this here and not in the bug report threads.

Has your software updated? And what platform are you playing on (android, steam, browser, iOS).

Some people (especially Steam players?) have had glitches where they got extra research chips (but none iirc mentioned milestone rewards at the same time). You def now have more research chips than me (whereas before you had similar - I'm on android 42_04 and RL 65).

Im afraid the extinctions for this research node are reset when prestiging

There are 550 extinctions in total. Also in your interpretation it wouldn't be 1.01x50. would be 1.01^50 e.g. multiply by 1.01 50 times). But it is badly worded. I think the description should describe x [1 + (50 x 0.01) ]

Having said that, I think it counts extinctions within a prestige. Which I'm glad about, if new players don't have to do the whole of Meso.
