Yes, you keep mutagen and in fact, you should put a fair amount aside. The reason being: you do not keep common traits.

So don't overbuy and overlevel in meso. For a normal run, about 50 of each dino should do with traits levelled to 5 or 6 at the most

Actually, not really.
It’s gonna continue-the game’ll ask you to rank up thing that don’t really make sense in the current state/objective.
Like, some of the stuff (okay, a lot of it) that I’m required to unlock for my current Episode (26) doesn’t make sense given Semblance’s objectives, and the increased payout isn’t noticeable.
So my advice is: Brace yourself for more of it.

Oh, and also brace yourself for objectives like those to become very expensive very quickly. Or at least at the penultimate buying.

There's a beta scheme that's been around for a while, where people who signed up were testing e.g. ||new events, the last 2 Beyond episodes (with their 'normal' account)||. At the moment (because of the focus on the ||Reality Reboot change||) the beta is the same as normal so no effect if you join (if the Devs are even accepting applicants).

Then there's the alpha which is much more unstable and is ||testing the new Reality Reboot and changes associated||. This (I think) involves a new play file (iOS, Steam) or a new app (android) and progress has been / can be reset at any time. This is active, and usually gets updates once a week.

The reason it's complicated? These are called multiple things by players and Devs, with some overlap.

It's hard to tell if the ||Earth|| model shows ||seasonal change|| as it's ||donut shaped|| and I'm not sure how that would affect e.g. ||annual polar ice cap growth/shrinkage cycles||.

It doesn’t actually make the event harder, not really.. yes it takes more time. but if you can get into the Top 25 or Top 10, you get rewards for Beyond and Meso that would take a lot of darwinium to buy otherwise. Getting into the Top 25 or 10 is usually not hard unless you don’t have many badges yet.. in which case don’t bother doing challenge mode yet.

Heh yep, Beyond 29 and 30.. and maybe by the time 30 arrives, CL will have told us what they'll be doing as an alternative to Beyond.. and if the black holes will be useful there or not... but yeah, I've been saving them since I finished 28, got lots now. The meso stuff/geodes I just ignore since I completed that, I'm sure I have lots of those too.

Only 3 means you're not playing on phone or tablet, right? .. but you still can get 3 every day or two (I forget)... and yeah, the 25 is only every 2 weeks like you said... or, if you spend $3 you can afford it.. or you get 300 DW if you pay for the 1 month infinity thing.. as a one time thing, it's a great deal.

You don't get the event x4 free, so events are harder. Which makes it harder to get badges AND rank high. and increases need to spend Darwinium on boosts.

As well as not getting as many cubes in the first place. And not getting the same amount of 4-hourly things.

A fish expansion would be nice, but it won't happen.
