Progressing in Meso will unlock things in the primary sim and will also end up boosting your metabit production as you are able to buy things in the RE (you can seehow progress in different areas will boost your metabit production in the stats in the reality engine).

Re the Augmentation Console, there's a pinned guide to what to buy in this channel: collecting Logits from event progress/finish rank will def help there.

Logits will come with time, as you play more. And eventually - like constellation fragments - you'll have loads and nothing to spend them on.

There are very few (no?) things are bad. Just they might not speed things up as much as you want.

Re the speed run: If you'll be wanting all the achievements in the end, there are some secret achievements.

They're quite fun to find yourself, but do involve a lot of poking around.

I found 1 or 2 accidentally, then explored and got about half of them before looking them up.

I'm not sure how many (if any) of the Augmentation console things or reality engine buys are needed tor them. A ||full set of nanobots|| def helps with one strategy to get them.

I think Steam players tend to use Darwinium to get the boosts in Events, because the logits you can get from ranking more highly, and the improved ability to get the badges is really helpful. Not sure though.

Don't worry, it will soon feel like the game has halted altogether. That is normal.

As for the speedruns- reach singularity fast. Very fast. After that, the most powerful augments to buy for prim sim are Giant Squid (only really good with all associated upgrades) and Capybara. But that's not necessarily the best buying order. That would be 1 Volcano (helps A LOT with early stages of meso), 2 Capy (to build up enough currency for) 3 Giant Squid.

After the speedruns, go wild with any glitches you have unlocked and can afford. Don't neglect the civilisation garden- not only is it beautifully made, but it contains further achievements.

I know you know this, but Logits are from both progression to get the three badges AND ranking in your division.

The getting badges ones definitely get easier once you start getting events where you've already got badges.

It does take (calendar) time, but don't get fed up. And is nice to see your badge collection building up (and shake your head sorrowfully over some of the art choices 😁).

(😥 for Steam players, and their lack of ability to access the ad-related free boosts here).

Wish there was in game ability to do something with my spare Logits or constellation fragments. I imagine it's quite complicated / risky to allow inter-player transfers though. Risk of accidentally setting up a game-wide economy ...

Hmm. By the time you're end game in primary, almost all your income will come from ||Feliforms||, ||Glires|| and ||Jellyfish|| and their associated upgrades.

They all need metabits, and provide boosts to income and metabit production, which then help you buy more goodies in the reality engine. 2 need ||logit purchases||; 1 needs ||Meso progression||.

I can't remember which I got first, but if you're struggling with ||Logits||, you might want to target the ||meso progression|| one.

There'll be other stuff on the way to unlock that'll help you get there, but patience is required in this game 🙂/🙁.

I found it interesting (given I was pretty sure I wasn't gonna lose my current game).

I wanted to see what it was going to be like, so I could decide whether - when RE upgrade went live - I wanted a complete clean start, or to port over my primary sim progress (Meso and Beyond won't be affected).

I saw and poked at some of the new mechanics that'll be coming, looks good!

But I did find it hard to get invested in playing when I knew that my progress would be reset occasionally (it is alpha testing after all!).

They really need to extend some of the music loops in game as some of them are making me go crazy with how they cut off and restart part way through I mean some of the pieces are over an hour long if you were to put the whole thing in but even if the loops were like 5mins+ long then it would at least bother me less.

I can think of 2 reasons for that, licenses being the first. While some compositions might be far beyond copyright, the recordings themselves might not be. More likely however, the main issue may be the use of resources. Might just be to more trouble than it's worth to have very long loops.

The audio files are .was files, which take up a very large amount of space.

You can also (on android anyway) grab the mystery trait every 30 mins from the shop which occasionally has silver trait cards. Possibly also gold, but if so is rare ...

Well ... That was a large goal! I'm thinking about working towards maxing the gold traits and the giga silver traits once I finish the giga normals.

But yeah, as I've got the 200 gigas achievement, it's only cos I get the geodes from events (I'm mainly interested in the black hole reward). Similarly with my 'get 300 gigas' goal. If I could trade the diamond geodes for anything useful, I would.

Hoping / expecting the reality reboot to give more end game content 🙂.

Though I'm not actually hyped about the reality reboot thing, I am still looking forward to it. Tbh, I would have preferred a new sim about plants, microscopic life or insects or a revamp of the tech garden, in that order. But almost all new content has been great, so I'm looking forward to what will come

It looks like they're setting up for future integration of plants and insects in the primary sim: if so then that could give them more longevity than a standalone sim?

And yeah, almost all the stuff that comes out is infinitely more interesting to me than most Idle games, or even most mobile games. 💜.

For me, it has lost its use, but then, I have so many star fragments and obscene amounts of dark matter that the only real, alebeit small, use of the slots are free white dwarfs and astronomy missions (when a new ep is finally released)

The main sim prestige system is being redone, metabits are no longer the prestige currency, the new currencies are entrobits and ideabits (someone correct for spelling pls)

When you update to the new version whenever it releases, your progress will NOT be lost, it’ll be converted to bring you back either exactly to or near your current progress level and your current metabits will be divided by 2 for both new currencies

For example

If you 5 mil metabits, 2.5 mil will be entrobits and the other 2.5 mil will be ideabits
