After a few resets and a bit of shopping in the reality engine, income will not be the problem when triyng the speedruns. Navigating the evolution tree is. So, the more optional stuff you have, the more difficult the achievements will be reach.

Yeah, it matters to a degree

You should, at least from the middle stages onward, try to complete as many quests as sensible

That usually means skipping the last fossil-collecting one, bcs that tends to take forever

On early levels, the mutagen payout per quest isn't much to talk about, so you can progress pretty quickly

Don't ask me when the turning point comes- it's been too long since I played meso

But keep this in mind: you won't need very high common traits for most gens, around lv 5 to 6 usually is enough. But you do want to save a tidy amount of mutagen

Have you got access to two devices?

If so you could load c2s on both, and play separately.

This might confuse the ranking system a bit, especially if you let both games connect to e.g. Google play. But if you don't upload-a-save-from-one-device-then-download-it-to-the-other you should be fine.

Also, I imagine that if you have Steam you might be able copy save files and stash them for later use (idk for sure though).

Welcome to division #666.

Division #666 is Cell to Singularity’s cheaters division. Most notably achieved by changing the time on your device to “progress” faster, or hacking/heavily modifying the game. Or very rarely, you can falsely get this division! That means you could get Division #666 while playing the game normally. That is all you need to know about Division #666.

The Devs have been working on a big update (alpha) which will affect the primary sim, so they mighta been tweaking stuff like that in the background.
