As far as I'm aware, rebooting doesn't penalise your metabit earning rate.

What happens is that at all times each metabit costs more than the last one, so your earnings will go down with time. Unless you improve your simulation.

To see the effect of rebooting, when you click reboot in the reality engine it will show you the current and new multipliers.

There's a strat to grind. Om the primary sim, use the shooting star and nanobots and tap, then keep resetting the nanobots (and duck out of the primary sim to Meso and back to get the shooting star back more quickly).

It doesn't make it quick, but it is much faster (at least it was when I did it). Is much 'easier' if you have the Infinity pass.

Only really worth doing imo if you've fully maxed out Meso and Beyond.

(IOS / android advice here and doesn't cost Darwinium, don't know how this works on Steam).

Ah yeah. There are some Augmentation console things that boost your metabit production a lot. ||Feliforms, Glires and Jellyfish|| will likely be your main producers at Neutrino Expansion point. Because of the related augmentations ||cat domestication, capybara, giant squid||.

I feel like this game has infinite modding potential, as it was literally made for this. This would absolutely let people allow others to play their fanmade trees.

I 've been playing 11 months and just got the last achievement a week or so ago. Think I got all the rest after 7-8 months of playing except the non-functional logit items (I could if I wanted). Maybe the useless constellations took a bit longer?

Now working towards 300 gigas (got 268), 300 Messier's (got 287) and 300 badges (got 191) while waiting for reality reboot and Beyond E29.

You could test your save file by uploading to the cloud and downloading to another device?

How I did it? I'm end game (I ignored it for ages, cos speed required, but decided I wanted to bank it before the reality engine reboot) and android, don't know if this would work for you.

Wasn't as bad as I expected, but suspect only cos I planned it through tbh.

What I did was:

• upload my game to cloud save.$
• reboot
• go slowly through the tech tree locating exactly what things I needed to unlock to get to singularity, writing them down in rough order. I used the tech tree on the wiki to help with this. (I did note big things not to unlock, but that wasn't needed tbh)
• repeat to check
• paid attention to what unlocks what and shift the order around until I wasn't waiting for things to (slowly!) appear once unlocked.
• Tested whether I found it easier just to spam click upgrades in the menu (avoiding things that opened up side branches), or use the tree, I decided I preferred the tree.
• turn to landscape mode (less scrolling side to side).
• practice a few times (quite a few! 15 or so, until I could do it reliably without having to use my list).
• adjust order to what felt comfortable (not written down).
• download my save, reboot and then get the achievement.$

I didn't use nanobots because I wanted to buy precise things, and not them to buy the wrong thing.

End plan:

• landscape mode
• reboot
• collect 2x5 finger taps of entropy
• change to tech tree mode
• zoom out
• work my way up the tree, buying what I needed in the right order (generally with my right hand, only buying 2-3 generators $$) and panning with my left hand. Occasionally buying with both if there was a lot going on in one area.

$ only needed as I wanted to keep my reboot number low. Idk why 🤷.

$$ I tried doing max but, but it slowed things down, I needed the space to see the tech tree, and not keep having to open and close the window.

The last order I got written down is in the cells Reddit under a question from 8 days ago 'When did you complete the two minutes to singularity challenge'. Soz, can't post a link.

And the tech tree without knowing what to open took too long, with all the fade in animations (not just the things with special scenes). I'm on a midrange device, which could have an effect. I got it in 2m40 in the end, don't think I could have done it much faster.

Can't find the post. But the Devs said aitoclickers are allowed and recommended for people who need them.

Separately, there have been discussions in the past about on android/iOS the offline bonus and watching thing being similarly effective to autoclickers. And tbh I don't see any conceptual difference between the two.

Nanobots and offline boosts exist in the Steam version as well as in the mobile ones. What Steam doesn't allow is in-game ads, so autoclickers on Steam would offset the speed bonus from ads

I feel like I’ve hit a really significant wall in the primary simulation. Other than the only upgrade that I showed in the video (which I don’t think will significantly increase my entropy gain), there is not other progression to be made other than spending logits or Darwiniam, for whcih I have no idea what upgrades to prioritise

From what I’ve seen, it gets updated with new content every few months.
