If you can't change orientation by using the android/iOS settings, you could try downloading a 'Screen Orientation' app from Google play / Apple equivalent. Screen Orientation apps let you 'force' the rotation using the app, not the settings, and - as they're used by people who've damaged their screen - may avoid things at the top. Maybe.
I did this when I lost the top of my tablet screen.

Hey. Just seen you have 49 levels of Meso multiplier (490). Because there's 550 levels of Meso altogether, if you got to Prestige 10 level 50 you'd have a multiplier of 5500 here.
You'd increase your metabit production by a factor of ten. That's the most obvious thing.
Meso is a long grind, but you would get lots of Darwinium on the way (through geodes).

I used to know a professional translator (before Google translate etc).
We discussed translating names quite a lot. Like, what are the 'vibes' of the word in the original and new language: same and similar sounding words. Is the name 'awkward' in the new language? Should the name stay the same? Is there a famous use of the original name in the new language? Could it be somehow controversial (God name? Historic figure). Trademarks.
Surprisingly complicated. And that's just for names, never mind the rest of the (more complicated) stuff. Reading interviews with the translator of e.g. the Three Body Problem was fascinating too.
Don't know if that applies to your example or if was an error though.

Some names were translated (Sucrose became Saccharose, which I like), but the demon names all stayed intact
Think Azazel, Beelzebub or Lucifer (the German localisation of the latter would be Luzifer)
I'm a superfan of localisation, unlike some people
Which means I have a looot of patience for quirks and poor decisions

I do like it when books are localised in a place outside the USA, especially if I'm a bit familiar with the place. Growing up, almost all SF I had access to was USA-written and based. And ... as from the 1950s-70s, somewhat limited in it's characters and portrayals.
I need more SF set in Yorkshire!
Luckily, with ebooks and things, there's much more translated non-English language and non-USA based stuff available these days.

I think when reading a book in a different language, the first chapter is almost always the hardest: lots of scene-setting and descriptive words. Once you get going, the language is often simpler. SF is often an easier genre than most, because the scene-setting language tends to be more 'technical' words that are more similar between languages; as well as often being a more direct writing style generally. My thoughts anyway.
Still can't find my anthology(ies) of Japanese SF; suspect I have it/them in paperback, and not near my bookshelves at the moment. Wonder if it's the same book we're thinking about - do you remember a story about a box, and one about a Carp? I will have got them 2nd hand about 15+ years ago.
Rummaging through my Kindle, I did find my ebooks of the Apex series of World SF, which I assume I liked as I have 4 of them.
Clarkesworld magazine often has translations of modern SF stories, also their stories are usually not quite traditional SF. Stories all available on their website for free (although you can subscribe, and is well worth it imo).
Texhnolyze: never heard of it! Late 90s and 00's had some really interesting experimental SF though, from what I remember (usually late night TV). I will add it to my (large) list of things to consider reading/watching, ta!
