It's more like an average. Since not every generator is automated, and the majority of them don't produce their amount every second (in some cases in can take minutes), it's more like how much you'd generate if all of them were producing their currencies every second...or something.

- Each Metabit you create requires slightly more Entropy and Ideas than the previous one, so your production will decrease over time. The best methods for gaining more Metabits are buying the Giant Squid and Capybara augmentations (because of the massive boosts they provide to entropy production), completing lots (or all) of the Mesozoic Valley extinctions, or amassing lots of badges from explorations.
