the Main Sim is finished when ||you have all achievements and got all trophies and semblance upgrades (which takes quite a lot of time)||, Mesozoic Valley once ||you reach Prestige 10 Rank 50 and got every Dino 200 times||, and Beyond is currently finished at ||Rank 27|| in the official version, though the Beta already goes up to ||Rank 30||.
Technically, there is no way to be finished with events since they always restart and give you more badges, but I'd reckon getting every badge once is the closest you can get to being finished with them.

As said svensk, it's your event division. One division has 1000 player and when the first one is filled, the 2nd open, then the 3rd etc... So if you are in division 248 it mean that there were around 248k participants in the event when you joined it

General tips are: advance Beyond and Meso, get more badges, upgrade your Reality Engine and aim to buy Capybara and Giant Squid Augmentations

But maybe it’s too little to tell. Like I’m currently at a rate of 5e7/s and getting more generators might increase it by 1e5/s or less

There are still 25 total upgrades I could make in Rare and Epic cards, enough to improve it by 268M (2^25), but I am not too worried about that. Will take too long.

I saw someone on YouTube with 5.2 Nosxg, or Novemsexagintillion, 5e212 by the time they finished ep 30, which is significantly higher than mine, even if I were to max out the other cards. So that seems to be too much. I don’t know how or why they are that high.

Your relative amount compared to other players in your group is what determines your ranking.

Not getting any badges would be pretty bad since you'd be in the very same situation with the event when it next rolls around. As long as you get one badge, you're good to go; next time will be slightly easier. Getting multiple badges is even better since the second and third badge have a much higher boost for the event

Double plus, the trios stack! 30% boots, 60% boosts, 90% boosts...etc!

It only works with the event that the badges comes from though. So if you enter the Deep Sea event hoping that your Rock badges will provide a boost prepare for a world of disappointment.

(Oh yeah, and even if you don't get a trio, whatever badges you get still stack.)
