It still help to take some places in the global leaderboard

But you can have 120 badges and be easely above someone with 400 badges or more

No, you don’t have to do that. You can play events again with regular time manipulation. You just have to do it right.

Basically restarting it, and earning the badges again twice in a row.

if by "items", you mean trophies, then no. unlocking them is just a massive slow down due to the animation playing. actually, when you're far enough, the only reason to unlock anything in a speedrun is to unlock stuff locked behind what you're unlocking to advance further to singularity. However, I do believe SirH did use bot assist (not nanobot!) for this specific feat. At the same time, I think somebody did it in under 30 seconds legitimately.

Also with updates devs will certainly continue to upgrade the primary simulation because a lot of things still missing

Keep up with the trait cards, and make sure you always have enough dark matter to upgrade the highest cards when they are available. This means all epics and rares, and whichever common trait cards that correspond to the two most recent objects you have discovered.

Also you have 5 upgrades available so if you buy them it will boost your productivity. About the mesozoic valley, the beyond and events you can also watch ads every times and buy upgrades when they are availables. This is an idle game so it mean that you can just check your game every 2h~3h or even every 10 min if you want, collect money, upgrade things and after that go do something else until you feel you might have enough money to buy something. Also, autoclick is available in this game so if you really want to go faster you can use it (but it's less prestigious than doing it manually). I know these are very superficial tips, if you need more clear infos, you can ask me/us something about a specific point you need to optimize and I/we will try to help you as much as I/we can

Any tips for buying dinosaurs quickly for mesozoic era? I'm at prestige 3 and have all the golden cards at level 9-10 with silvers at 7-9 as well as mega volcano. Don't have to wait long to buy upgrades now and it is mostly just clicking buy nonstop. Towards the end, I just setup an alternating card buy using the blue currency for highest dinosaur for an easy clear to next prestige. Towards the middle of a prestige is getting a bit tedious though. I've been r-clicking until it gets to just a multiple of hundreds left to buy, then switching to buy 100x at a time to reach target. If I'm not paying attention, easy to accidentally clear spend everything buying too much of an upgrade and have been struggling to find the motivation to spend hours just buying upgrades up to specific numbers at this point. If I just set it to buy max, it ends up buying way too many and can slow it down a bit. Is there some way to just buy all the dinosaurs up to the target number for the tasks?

You can't buy only the specified amount but max buy shouldn't slow you down too much if you already prestiged
